Crochet this super comfy and stylish oversized cocoon shrug! It will fit a range of sizes and features shorter-length sleeves and an open front. This crochet cocoon shrug looks equally great with a sundress or with your favorite jeans. The pattern is available for instant download and includes written instructions, abbreviation keys, and tips to help you successfully create this project.

A very unusual puff stitches pattern is  combined with a sensational easy-to-crochet cocoon shape. I’ve included 6 sizes to fit medium to three X. This cocoon shrug turned out to be very light, I used a little more than 4 skeins of super fine (4ply) wool\acrylic yarn for it (3.5oz/100g per skein).  I feel very comfortable in it and I know I look really fashionable.

I have written this pattern in standard US terms. The pattern is not for beginners but even if you don't have enough experience you can try it out anyway. Pictures are included every step of the way, making it great for those who are new to following patterns.

about me      Welcome to my Crochet Studio. My name is Julia and I love yarn, color and designing. I picked up my first crochet hook at age 7 and haven't put it down since. The excitement of finding inspiration, working with yarn and crocheting something new is magical. I can't live without it and the process of creating crochet patterns is really my universe. I see inspiration everywhere and I love to inspire others.

I try to make patterns that are clear and comprehensive with a lot of pictures for the tricky parts. I'd like to give you possibility to improve your skills as you go through my patterns and to share my crochet experience. There's nothing better that sailing straight through a pattern and having the end result turn out just right! I hope you will like the patterns on my site and my handmade craft ideas.
